Another short day
Today it was Saturday it means it is short day!We played different games-board games and sport games.And then we watched HARRY POTTER 6!!!!!In English of course!It was fun!
Hello to all Heads of Houses, Prefects and Campers - from an English English teacher in Denmark! I used to live in Elista and teach there and many other places in Kalmykia. I'm very pleased to see that you are so interested in my language. It seems as though you are having great fun and being very imaginative! Your Saturday was a short day, but here in Scandinavia we are having our longest days - even at midnight we can see the sunset/sunrise glowing in the North, and it never gets really dark. My name is John and next week is midsummer, which is my name-day, Saint John's Eve - we light huge bonfires and dance around them like heathen wizards and witches of olden days! I hope you all have a wonderful summer - and thanks to your camp organiser, my colleague Valentina, for telling me about your activities, and for her enthusiasm for English that I know you all share now! Greetings and best wishes to the sandy steppes, from the white nights in the Far North.
